Obituary for David Vazquez

David Vazquez
TORRINGTON – David A. Vazquez, age 25, of North Elm St Torrington, died unexpectedly at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on Sunday, February 9th 2014.

David was born February 19th 1988 in New London, CT the son of Santos Morales and the late Sol Vazquez. He was raised in the Waterbury area where he attended local schools. David was a funny and humble young man. He was lovable and always clowning around just to make others laugh. His famous line everyday was “Shake & Bake, Rickey Bobby”. He always thought he was a great singer even though he would hurt your ears and if you questioned his singing he would say “What I’m the greatest singer” ! He did not have a hurtful bone in his body and he would always try to be the peacemaker.

Besides his father Santos, he is survived by his brothers, Mickey Ortiz, Luis Bonilla, and Wilmer Vazquez and his sisters Sol Gonzalez, Brenda Vazquez, and Adriana Gonzalez, as well as seven nieces and eight nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Vazquez will be held on Monday, February 17th 2014 at 7:00pm at Eastside Memorial, a Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with David’s family at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. To extend on-line expressions of sympathy to the family or for additional information, kindly visit the funeral home website at:
