"Always Smiling"

Seymour, CT – Andrea Theresa Biso, age 58, of Seymour, CT, was raised by the angels into eternal life on April, 21, 2020 and now sits at the right hand of God our Father.

Andrea was born on July 21st, 1961 in Derby CT, to Clemens and Irene Bystryk(Griffiths). As a devoted and loving Mother, daughter, sister and wife, Andrea's family was always her passion and life. She is survived by her mother Irene, sister Michele, brother Greg, husband Michael, and three children Connor, Heather, and Tyler, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Her infectious laugh would have everyone join in and her radiant smile would brighten anyone’s day. She had a warm and loving presence and brought an aura of playfulness and cheer wherever she went. She was an incredibly generous woman, who would give her family and friends love, support, and anything else that could make their lives easier or more joyful. Andrea was known for her love of animals and nature and would often be found in her yard, with her dog and cats, working on her gardens adorned with shells and stones gathered from her frequent trips to the beach or the forest. She had a deep affinity for the sea and spent many summers in Cape Cod. Andrea was known by so many as a mother figure, a friend, and an unflinching beacon of love and joy even in times of struggle. Her spirit was evergreen and free, an ocean breeze under an endless blue sky.

Due to the current COVID-19 guidelines and associated governmental restrictions regarding the pandemic, all services will be held privately. Once the restrictions are lifted, a community memorial service will be announced. To honor Andrea’s memory, donations may be made to: Seymour Pink, 3 Franklin St. Seymour CT 06483. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home has been honored to assist the Biso family during this difficult time. Memories endure only if you share them, so you are encouraged to leave a condolence, words of comfort or a personal memory with Biso family on Andrea’s tribute page at

I met Andrea when I was 5 years old. She was my first friend when my family moved to the neighborhood. So many memories of our family's growing up together. Losing touch as our lives moved on, I was so happy to see and reconnect with her one day in OSJL. We walked down memory lane many times. My heartfelt condolences to the Bystryk and Biso family. Cherish your memories of Andrea and I send you love, peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I met Andrea at OSJL, she was a gem from the first day that I met her, always smiling, and willing to help in anyway she can, she made the day fun and it was always a pleasure to work with her. She called me lady Jane (aka LUISA), you never knew by talking to her that she was feeling so bad, yet her inner self always brought out her beautiful smile and thoughtfulness, I will miss her dearly, my deepest sympathy to her family, which she absolutely adored and loved with all of her being, I will miss you Andrea! Your dear friend Luisa
