“Beloved wife and mother”
WATERBURY – Corenna (Clapp) Stallings, age 60 of Waterbury, passed away at Waterbury Hospital on July 23, 2019, after a long battle against cancer. She was the wife of Randy Stallings.
Corenna was born July 4, 1959 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Gerth (Stokes) Clapp and Thomas Clapp. She worked at Sherwood Packaging for many years. Corenna enjoyed sewing, fishing and cooking. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time with her family. She was a member of the Temple of Praise. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those around her. Corenna loved her work, her faith, her friends and most especially, her family. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her and were blessed to have known her. It can be said with great pride that Corenna exemplified a “life well lived”.
Left to remember, cherish and honor, Corenna’s love and memories are her devoted husband of 38 years, Randy, her daughters: Sophie Clapp Lovejoy and Corinne Clapp. She also leaves behind her adored and cherished 7 grandchildren: 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stallings will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705. Friends and family may visit with the Stallings family at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
