I am sorry for your loss. My husband and your son Robert (Chris) were roommates at Langley AFB in Virginia. I have a memory of meeting you in Waterbury at your home. May you rest in peace.

I remember Aunt Hedy sending me a little potted plant when at 9 I had my tonsils out. It was the sort of thoughtful thing she'd do, knowing that I would be home from school for a few days and feeling left out of things. I felt so grown up receiving that plant, which I kept alive for many years.
Hedy believed in family and in the Church; she was always anxious about the welfare of everyone around her, and she bent her prayers toward their welfare.

Great childhood memories of Hattie as she shared her dog Buttons with our family. So much so that we thought of Buttons as our own. I also remember how wonderful she was to work with at the nursing home. Rest In Peace.
