“Known as the Colonel of Softball”

OAKVILLE – John P. Creaven, age 79 of Oakville, formerly of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 20th 2020, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was the beloved husband of Antonia (Romero) Creaven.

John was born December 9th 1940 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late John and Martha (Morris) Creaven. John was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War Era and was stationed in Spain where he met the love of his life Antonia.
