My dear Juan. When you first came to work at DSS in Waterbury, I started calling you "Juanito mio". You will always have a special place in my heart. You always told me that once we all retired and you moved to your home in Puerto Rico, you wanted me and Barb to come visit you and Dori. Alas we will now have to meet again in Heaven someday. My condolences to you and your entire family.
Here's to a kind, gentle, loyal and compassionet man I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with. May God bless you.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I had the privilege of working with Juan when he was a social work supervisor in the Hartford office of DSS. He was a leader, consummate professional and performed his responsibilities in concert with the values of the social work profession. He carried himself well, always spoke highly of his family , was courteous and kind and a friend to many. He will be remembered well. Job Well Done Juan.
