WATERBURY - Ronald “Ronnie” LeBlanc, age 68, of Waterbury CT, passed away unexpectedly at The Vitas Innovative Care Unit at Saint Mary’s Hospital due to complications from the COVID-19 Virus.
Ronnie was born January 18, 1953 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Rita (Forest) LeBlanc and the late Roland LeBlanc of Waterbury. He was a Beacon Brook Health Care resident. Ronnie was a lifelong Waterbury resident who spent many years working as a machinist for the Draher Machine Company. He also worked for Villa Productions and the Barley Corner Café. Ronnie was loved by everyone he met, and he enjoyed listening to and playing music.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his love and memory, are his mother, Rita and his sister, Laura Manzi and her husband, Richard as well as their daughter, Melissa Finkenzeller and her husband, Brian and their children; Christina and Timothy as well as other extended family members and many friends.

Funeral services for Mr. LeBlanc will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home has been honored to assist Ronald’s family with arrangements. Oh Ronnie - I have no words...I look at your face and hear your voice...greeting everyone as they walked thru the door at Barley. Then, at the end of the night, you would help kick them out, ask for your glass of whatever you felt like drinking that night(or what ever we had left to drink was more like it!) You were the greeter and the protector. Rest in peace and fly high my friend. Protect us from above - with huge hugs from below....Lisa

To His mom and sister Laura, My most sincere condolences. I spoke with Ron briefly for a couple of times over the last year but I was unable to connect with him. My heart hurts from not being able to reconnect. May time ease your grief

So sorry for your loss. Ron was a patient with my brother Anthony and when he passed Ron was so sad ... I wondered every day how he was doing and wishing I could visit. Kind and caring ... May he rest in peace.
