I'm so sorry for you loss. I'm his cousin Janet Simpson, we are the same age. I remember all the good times at the house in Bunker Hill. I meet him again when we were older, Shaun lived in East Mountain for a short time. Shaun was a very good person. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

To all of my cousins: I am so, so sorry to hear of Shaun’s passing! Shaun was near and dear to my parents hearts as well as mine. I remember the many sleepovers he had at my house as a child with my brother. He was so much like his beautiful mother, my Aunt Jane, with his gentle, loving personality. Your parents have their loving arms open for him in Heaven as they did for all of you on earth. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Some of my fondest childhood memories were spending time with all of you at your house. Heaven has gained yet another angel. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am so sorry to hear of Shaun's passing. My condolences to all of the McCormack family. My memories of Shaun go back for so many years with so many stories. He was truly a loving and kind man, and he will be missed. I know he is with God.

I remember walking home from school with Shaun and Bridget when they first came to BSS from St. Mary's (1970 maybe? Sean still had a St. Mary's blue dress shirt and tie, BSS was white and green.). Our friendship grew and never ended. After I moved from Waterbury I would see Shaun less often, but always with a smile and a few beers together. He was a great guy to hang around with. Playing Blackjack on the wall, Craps wherever, Basketball in the park or the gym, Shaun always competed. And, he hosted the best parties in Glen's woods, and was the Mayor of Crotty's and Grandview. If you needed something, you asked Shaun.

In the last few years when I would see him, he always would show me pictures of Stephanie. It was very clear how much Shaun loved Stephanie.

Since I've been gone from the WTBY, I missed my times with Shaun. My prayers are with all of the McCormacks as I know Shaun is in a good place. I wish I could be with you tomorrow, but I can't.

God Bless all and Let's Raise a Glass to Shaun, Slainte!
